Hans “Scruff” Vermaak is the son of one of the first professional hunters in South Africa. Coenraad Vermaak Safaris is the oldest established and registered hunting and outfitting company in South Africa. Their family’s heart has been in hunting for generations – from Coenraad, the Bullet, Vermaak to Scruff, to Em and Caleb, multiple generations continuing the tradition of introducing people to the incredible world of wildlife in South Africa.
