Blood Origins is honored to tell the story of Craig Maartens– the son of the first “official” professional hunter in Southern Africa. Craig has picked up the mantle from his father and is a professional hunter himself – and because of his name, he feels a greater sense of responsibility around what a professional hunter operates like, how he represents his community, and how he upholds the ethics of hunting.

Hunting out of Southern Africa, Maartens Safaris has been a longtime supporter of Blood Origins, and several of their clients have been contributing to work and projects through Blood Origins. Maartens Safaris has a significant impact to wildlife, habitat, and the people of Africa.
