Blood Origins, a U.S.-based conservation nonprofit, has successfully funded a Teacher Incentivization Program in Botswana’s Nata region, supporting five primary schools in Nata, Maposa, Sepako, and Manxotae. In partnership with the Nata Conservation Trust (NCT) and Tlou Safaris, this initiative will award top teachers with cash prizes and trophies, enhancing annual prize-giving ceremonies already funded by hunting revenues. With support from donors like the Sea Dragon Foundation and Legends Ranch’s Wildlife Education Center, the program is fully funded for 2024 and 2025. Blood Origins aims to empower educators and strengthen rural communities through this sustainable, hunting-supported project.
